Particle Size Analysis, Classification of Soils, Standard and Modified
Proctors, California Bearing Ratio, Unconfined Compression and
Permeability.
REINFORCED CONCRETE
Mix
Design Review, Batch Plant, Reinforcing Steel, Concrete Placement
Inspection and Testing. Material tests including: Aggregate Analysis
(Gradation, Soundness, Durability, L.A. Abrasion, etc.) Cement Analysis
(Physical and Chemcial). Concrete Tests (Compression, Flexural
Strength, Air Content, Unit Weight, Etc.). Concrete Coring Services,
Windsor Probe and Rebound Hammer Tests.
FLOOR FLATNESS
Floor Slab F-Number Determinations performed using a Digital Floor Profiler.
STRUCTURAL STEEL
Shop
Fabrication Inspection including Welding, NDE and Painting Inspection,
Field Erection Inspeciton Welding, High Strength Bolting, Shear Stud,
Metal Deck
ASPHALTIC CONCRETE
Field Placement Inspection including Temperature,
Thickness Measrements and Compaction Tests. Material tests including:
Extraction/Gradations, Specific Gravity, Unit Weight Etc.
REINFORCED MASONRY
Inspection
of Placement of Masonry Units and Reinforcing Steel. Material tests
include: Mortar, Grout, Masonry Prisms, Compression/Absorption and
Moisture Content of Masonry Units.
SPRAY APPLIED FIRE PROOFING
Inspection of Batching, Substrate
Preparation, Application of Initial and Final Coats, Field Thickness,
Adhesion and Cohesion Tests. Material tests including: Dry Unit Weight,
Etc.
ROOFING/WATER PROOFING
Inspect Application of Roofing/Water Proofing for
Manufacturers and Specified Requirements. Material tests include: Ply
Count, Binder Content Ballast Tests (Gradation, etc.)
